Description

This is a really lovely, good quality pair of French gilt bronze winged fairy candlesticks dating from the late 19th century. Each fairy is raised on a Neo-Classical style plinth with flame finials and toupie feet. The figures are beautifully formed and and have a lovely patina.

A really rare and attractive pair, most unusual and in excellent order.

The pair are a good size measuring 28 cms in height by 10 cms in diameter.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
