Technical Description
A rare 18th century wine glass dating to c1750. It has a cup bowl engraved with fruiting vine above a double knopped multi spiral air twist stem with a conical foot.
There are a few factors which make this glass rare. The first is the bowl shape itself. A cup bowl on any 18th century form is not something you''ll find very often. Secondly, a cup bowl on an air twist wine is almost unheard off with very few examples in existence.
