Art Deco George VI Sterling Silver Condiment Set - 1937

Description

An antique George VI sterling silver three-piece condiment set which has been designed in the Art Deco style and consists of a pepper pot, salt and mustard pot. Each piece has a stylish shaped plain body and rests on a slightly raised base. The blue glass liners fit comfortably within the bodies and remain in excellent condition. The salt and mustard spoons have been later added but suit the condiment set perfectly.

Height of mustard pot: 5.3 cms (2.1")

Height of salt: 4 cms (1.6")

Height of pepper: 10.6 cms (4.2")

Weight (without liners): 5.4 troy ounces (168 grams)

It was hallmarked in Birmingham for 1937 by A. Scott Ltd.
