Description

Superb travel trunk covered in quality hide having brass bound edges and wooden strapping with brass corners. The interior is clean, spacious and lined in Camphor wood. The top has been beautifully stencilled with owners name, rank and address 'Major A.B. Walker. 34 Bruce Street, Riccarton, Kilmarnock, Scotland. It has strong stiff canvas handles and stencilled 'CABIN' on both sides. Like all antiques there are some minor imperfections however these only add to the character and charm of this still very useful item.
