Description

This lovely Painted Pine Food or Meat Safe dates from around 1840.  It has remnants of the original paint finish and the sides have meshed vent holes, which would have allowed air to flow freely inside the cupboard to help keep the contents cool and fresh.

It has three inner shelves and stands upon bun feet.

A really nice piece for a country style home and in good, solid condition.

Depth 29 cm

Height 111 cm
