Fine 18th Century Old Sheffield Plated Pint Tankard

Description

A fine Old Shefffield Plated pint tankard. Bearing no makers mark, but dating to c1780-1800. With a beautiful turned wooden base, slight false bottom and visible interior and exterior seams. A good firm handle with a heart shaped thumb piece.

The condition is very good overall with no splits, one very small ding to the body and a couple of patches of slight copper bleed to the raised rims. The interior is relatively clean with some slight discoloration to the base.

Weight approx 300g.
