A Daum Winter Landscape vase in a very rare shape. Finely detailed acid etched and enamelled, this beautiful vase evokes a winter woodland covered with a carpet of snow. The long slender neck leading down to a bulbous base is a shape I have not seen in this d�cor. The vibrant colours of the evening sunset have a very dramatic effect. The scene is enhanced by the en grisaille trees in the background. The vase is signed in black enamel to the underside Daum Nancy and with the Cross of Lorraine. In excellent original condition.
