Andros Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The three oak lined drawers all run smoothly when pulled by their stylish ormolu handles.
The veneer is arranged in a herringbone design with contrasting directional cross banding to the edges. The tops are made of marble for a degree of practicality and robustness. One of the marble tops has an historical shake to it, that has been restored some time ago, but is only evidenced when looked at very closely, and as seen in the photos is not immediately obvious at all, but wanted to make a note of it.
Beautifully presented, these bedsides would lift any room they were placed in.
