Georgian Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The press retaining its original slides, the base section with a configuration of two short over two full length drawers each with an elegant elongated brass escutcheon and cast brass knob handles with a flower head in the center. The drawers are double beaded, beneath the bottom drawer is a shaped frieze and the whole piece rests on four elegant bracket feet.
