This fine example of René Lalique's 'Rampillon' vase was designed in 1927. It is in clear and opalescent glass, frosted and polished with blue staining. the vase has a raised lozenge pattern interspersed with flowering branches, lightly stained. The vase is faintly etched 'R LALIQUE FRANCE' to the base.

This vase was originally in the extensive private collection of Lalique glassware owned by the late distinguished High Court Judge, Dame Margaret Booth.
