Fine Old Sheffield Plated Wine Cooler C1800

Description

A rare small wine cooler. Bearing no makers mark but made of Old Sheffield Plate, dating to c1800-1820. With reed edging, fluting to the body and ring handles featuring the face of Bacchus. Monogrammed to the front for 'RWG'. With a removable tight fitting lid opening to reveal an internal removable ice bucket.

The condition is overall with no dents or splits but with copper bleed to the raised edges, especially the fluting.
