The reverse of the vases, painted with further panels of pavilions on a river bank, along which grow irises.
The borders with dense floral scroll in gilt, upon a cobalt blue ground.
Signed to the base of both vases.
Height – 15.5 cm, 6 1/8”.
Diameter – 8 cm, 3 2/8”.
Condition – Minute wear to the gilding, commensurate with the age of the vases. No damage. No restoration.
