This Victorian piano stool dates from around 1850 in the walnut, leather and iron material specification, finished in a warm brown colour. The circular padded seat wears a textured brown upholstery trimmed with metal studs around the lower wooden rim. A heavily turned central pedestal supports the revolving seat mechanism above three sweeping tripod legs with curved profiles and a small pendant finial hanging below the centre of the base. Visible signs of age include cracking and wear to the leather surface of the seat. The piece measures 51 cm high, 35.5 cm wide and 35.5 cm deep overall.
