Description

Wonderful Scottish cabinet on stand made from solid oak with makers label which reads " A. G. Gardner & Son Ltd, House Furnishers, 36 Jamaica Street, Glasgow, Est 1832" Separates into two sections for easy transportation to and around the home. The top section has four carved doors which open to reveal shelved interiors offering plenty of storage. It's base is two oak lined drawers on four beautifully turned legs united by a H stretcher. In excellent condition with only historic knocks, marks, as is to be expected with a item of it's age however these are minimal and only add to the character and charm of this very functional antique cabinet the perfect addition to any room.

A Gardner & Son started in the Georgian era of 1803 by his grandfather. A Gardner took over the business in 1832 and the company continued for over 150 years of creating fine furniture using quality woods.
