A well proportioned 17th century antique oak coffer. The antique oak coffer has a three panel hinged lid (retaining its original hinges) which opens to reveal a generous sized interior. To the front of the antique oak coffer are beautiful detailed carvings. Raised on stile feet.Item Ref; M-4078.DIMENSIONS:Height � 64cm / Width � 108cm / Depth � 52.5cm .CONDITION REPORT:In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, stains and shrinkage splits to the lid (pictured). There are marks, scratches, dents and fading to the wood around the sides, front and back which adds to its characteristics and does not affect the overall integrity of the item. There is evidence of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has since been fully treated as a precaution. The antique oak coffer remains structurally solid and sound.
