Marris Antiques has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
He invited the the great and the good from all over Devonshire and Cornwall to attend a party at his house, which lasted for over one week and where each quest was presented with a sealed bottle to mark the occurance C1790-1800.

Note: Information obtained from Antique Sealed Bottles 1640 -1900 and the families who owned them volume two by David Burton and Christopher Mortimer.
Base dia: 8.5 cm.
Condition: Very good with excellent surface sheen and a well defined seal.
