Technical Description
A superb Georgian Coin Tankard dating to around 1800. It has applied trailing to the rim with an applied handle above a hollow ball knop containing a silver George II sixpence dated 1758. Conical foot with polished pontil. It will hold over 1 quart of Ale.
Date & Origin
England, c1800. Period of George III.
Condition
Excellent, no chips cracks or restoration. It has a small section of trailing missing.
