Description

A Regency mahogany cellarette in the manner of Thomas Hope. The top with raised gallery above a drop down glass cupboard, single drawer above a sliding nine bottle cellarette. The piece tapers from 38 cm at the top to 56cm at the base, the front with ebony stringing, and stands on short turned feet, the sides and cellarette drawer having fine bronze "lions head" handles. Fine colour and condition . An unusual but practical model. English Circa 1820.
