A beautiful Georgian corner cupboard, ideal for any period home.
This cabinet has obviously really been looked after as it's in a lovely original condition with its lovely original colour and wax polished finish. This cabinet features its ornate cornice with dental moulding to the under side and simple moulded panelled door font which frames the Mahogany cross-banded inlay. Flanking the door either side are 2 lovely raised pillars with matching Mahogany cross-banded inlays to the door. The cabinet comes complete with working lock and key (has been replaced at some point but is antique) and has a lovely diamond Mahogany keyhole escutcheon. The cabinet features 3 shelves making it the ideal storage for glasses and/or drinks. We have sympathetically restored this item maintaining patina by just carefully waxing this item to enhance its original surface and preserve it for many years to come.
