Description

A splendid Period Oak Livery Cupboard dating from the 18th Century

The upper part of this superbly carved piece has two doors enclosing a shelved cupboard, this stands on a pot board base supported by turned and carved pillars and it stands on chunky bun feet

The cornice is elaborately carved with serpents and mythological beasts, the door panels too are carved with stylised flora and leaves and there is further decoration around the pot board base

The Cupboard has a planked Oak back; it is in sound condition apart from age related wear

This is a one piece cupboard and is quite heavy it is 70” high, 43” wide and 19” deep
