Description

This stunning 19th century Japanese table cabinet is beautifully lacquered and hand gilded with superb detail. The cabinet is wonderfully decorated throughout with birds and berries in prunus, flowers and leaves raised in relief. The work is signed by the artist with a six character mark to the door and the piece has all its original bronze work with the small drawers having stylish shaped handles in the form of various types of fruit. The original key and lock are present but no longer working.

This is in excellent condition throughout with a lovely colour.

The cabinet measures 32 cms wide 39 cms high by 16 cms deep.
