A beautifully painted vase with rarer yellow ground , decorated with the three '' friends of winter '' in blue .Makuzu Kozan was Imperial artist to the Meiji household and probably the most revered of Japanese potters , this is a a fine example of his work .Excellent condition , no damage or restoration ,Bears his seal for 1910.
