Description

An exquisite antique 18ct gold, pearl & enamel portrait pendant from the Victorian era. This gorgeous large pendant features a miniature painting depicting a young lady surrounded by black enamel and engraved gold crosses, then bordered by 56 pearls and connected to a pearl set bail. The rear of the pendant is constructed from solid 18ct gold with a textured finish. This is a fine example of a beautifully crafted piece of antique jewellery, presented in superb condition.

CONDITION

Excellent. This antique 18ct gold, pearl & enamel portrait pendant is in outstanding condition. The metalwork is in perfect order, with no dents and barely any signs of wear. The pearls are in superb condition with no signs of deterioration. The enamel is perfect with no chips or wear. The screen has likely been replaced and has some very minor chips to the outside, this isn’t detrimental to the painting or jewellery in any way. This wonderfully presented piece of jewellery has obviously been cherished and cared for throughout its life.
