Exquisite Japanese Meiji vase of gourd style shape with a long neck by Kusube Sennosuke. Beautifully decorated with hand-painted flowers (chrysanthemums, etc.) and butterflies on an orange ground. It is signed: Dai Nihon Kusube Sei (Made by Kusube, Great Japan). Measures 18cm (7in) x 9cm (3.5in) diameter.
Excellent original condition – no marks, damage or repairs.
