Description

Very fine Royal Vienna porcelain cabinet vase, circa 1900

A charming portrait panel of a girl, 'Lissette' , illuminated by the candle she is holding,

accomplished chiaroscuro giving the illusion of great depth

Raised gilt borders and details to the flowers and leaves, smaller flower petals in silver

all on a blue and turquoise mottled flambe ground

Marked to the base with the underglaze blue beehive, Lissete, 3804 Dec : MM9. Depose

Height 6,3/4" or 172mm, weight 245 grams

All in excellent condition with no damage or repair
