Tom Scott Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.

All sides have a band of string inlay which is a subtle contrast and finishes them nicely. The tops the same and also with the low 3/4 gallery framing.
The tambour slides work well and give a bit of storage and the tambour themselves give another texture to the cabinets.

Supported on simple tapered legs and the pot board shelf.
It is not often I will come across true pairs of cabinets like this of this age, clearly mid 19th century and in good condition.
