Description:
Here is a fine quality pair of antique English Art Deco figured & burr walnut bedside chests, circa 1930, in excellent condition. The bedsides are constructed with stunning mirror matched burr walnut veneers on a solid frame to the tops and drawer fronts, with figured walnut present on the sides. The different varieties of walnut provide a stunning contras. Below are two working drawers, which retain the original shaped brass & ribbed Bakelite shaped wood effect handles. The drawers are mahogany lined and are constructed with dovetailed joints. The bedsides stand on their original moulded bracket feet. These bedsides boast classic Art Deco styling throughout; this is visible in the rounded corners and clean lines.

Here is a fine quality pair of antique English Art Deco figured & burr walnut bedside chests, circa 1930, in excellent condition. Nominal old use marks to the tops, leading edges, sides and drawer bottoms, but nothing significant considering the age of them. They are pedestals from an Art Deco dressing table, which have been adapted into bedside chests. The bedsides have been cleaned and French polished by hand, to a professional standard in our workshop, therefore the colour and patination are of an excellent standard. The bedsides feature stunning mirror matched burr walnut veneers, boasting a rich walnut colour, which are all in excellent condition. The drawers retain the original handles and are constructed with dovetail joints. These Art Deco nightstands are well built, solid in joint and ready to use.
