Stunning looking Biedermeier side cabinet in mahogany with shaped frieze drawer and a bow fronted door having beautiful flame mahogany veneers arranged in a symmetrical pattern across front which opens to reveal a curved fronted shelf, ?flanked by a fine pair of half columns with Corinthian capitals all standing on plinth base. A fabulous neat cabinet with decorative appeal having excellent colour and condition and ready to be placed in any room at home.

Biedermeier furniture represents the first modern European decorative style not dictated by the tastes of the aristocracy. Cabinetmakers in cities such as Vienna, Berlin and Mainz began to offer goods that reflected the tastes and needs of the new class.
