Description:
Here is a good quality pair of antique English Art Deco mahogany bedside chests, circa 1930 - 1940, in very good condition. The bedsides are constructed with stunning mirror matched mahogany veneers on a solid frame. The tables have been cleaned and French polished by hand to a professional standard in our workshop, therefore the colour and patination is to a high standard. The bedsides comprise lovely mahogany tops. Below are three working drawers, which retain the original vertically shaped walnut cup. The drawers are constructed with fine hand dovetail joints. The bedsides stand on their original recessed plinth feet. These bedsides boast classic Art Deco styling throughout; this is visible in the rounded corners and clean lines.

Condition Report:
These antique English Art Deco walnut bedside tables are in very good condition, which is commensurate with their age. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges and sides (see photos), but nothing significant considering the age of them. They are pedestals from an Art Deco dressing table, which have been adapted into bedside tables. The bedsides have been cleaned and French polished by hand to a professional standard in our workshop, therefore they have an excellent finish, colour and patination. The bedsides feature lovely mirror matched figured walnut veneers, boasting a rich walnut colour, which are all in excellent condition. The drawers retain the original handles. These chests are well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
