Small Antique Very Early Victorian Carved Oak Peg Joined Court Cupboard C1840 Wp4907a/5.7

Description

This is a very small antique early victorian carved oak court cupboard and dating form around 1840. It has a plnk top above a carved lunette and castleated frieze on turned bulbous supports with a carved central cupboard with carved lozenge panels to the door and side panels. The base is profusely carved to the surrounds and with two panelled doors with carved lozenge and with internal shelf. It stands on turned oak feet. It has panelled sides and original rough hewn panelled back and it is peg joined.

In lovely condition and its beauty is in its small size with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak. Probably yorkshire/lakes origins

Measures: 42" high X 15" deep X 35" wide

Is in one piece
