Description

This is a good late 19th Century Japanese bottle vase in excellent original condition dating from the Meiji period, circa 1900. The vase is decorated with figural panels on a blue ground decorated with peacocks and flowers. This is signed to the base with a six character mark in red ironstone. The vase is attractively raised on a carved hardwood stand.

This is in perfect condition with no damage or restoration.

The piece measures 39 cms high overall on the stand with the vase alone being 32 cms high by 19 cms in diameter.
