Thin capstan stem above a conical foot with a polished pontil.

A delightful and very personal glass, perhaps a retirement present or a 'love' glass. It was obviously made for or gifted to MD, the cartouch itself being particularly delicate with polished detailing. Very much a toasting glass, the engraved Lyre and letters TIPS (be with you)...
May happiness be with you...as you lift your glass to have your next sip of port.
Personally, being a port lover myself, I can say that the bowl has excellent proportions and I would be very happy to make use of it for an evening.
