Description

Bow front double doored cabinet with ink and gilt decoration, which is matched across both doors. Ormolu sabots and corner mounts , well shaped and flared corners. Scalloped bottom edge to the doors. The top with gilt floral decoration, along with the inside face of the two doors. Super deep colour with original decoration. Very pleasing overall look, in good condition, with no obvious faults other than very minor wear associated with a piece that is over 100 years old but has been cared for. Red lacquered furniture a more desirable colour than the more usual black. Oak backboards, with single, stained pine, interior shelf. C1900
