In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
It has a moulded cornice and stands on a square plinth base with bracket feet below. The pine has a lovely warm colour and has been lightly polished to give a smooth wax finish.
It is in good condition for its age and displays well. There are some signs of age and use with light surface marks, scratches, knocks and some minor wear to the finish but nothing detrimental. There are some old marks and stains inside but it is generally clean and tidy. It is strong and sturdy and has been cleaned and is ready for use.
