Description

A rare late 17th Century kingwood oyster cabinet on stand of small proportions. With a walnut veneered top and cross-grain overhang moulding above a pair of tight kingwood oyster and Hollywood isometric veneered doors

The interior, with repeating veneered design has an arrangement of nine drawers with engraved brass handles and a central door with four further drawers behind.

The whole is raised on a 19th Century low stand with scroll supports, on bun feet with shaped stretchers.

Fantastic quality and colour throughout. Circa 1690
