Description

Circa 1900, unusual lift top walnut cabinet by Whytock and Reid, Edinburgh. The tall, narrow cabinet with pierced gallery with small heart motif and quarter matched walnut top, with foliate carved handle to the front. The hinged top opens to an uninterrupted interior, over 2 pairs of doors with carved handles. The shaped, pierced, and carved apron is above cabriole legs with foliate carved knees and on a classic Sir Robert Lorimer foot.
