This fine walnut occasional table promotes the very best elements of Georgian design, together with high quality cabinet making from the Early 20th Century. The craftsman obviously took his/her inspiration from the 18th Century, but refined their approach further still to create this charming tray topped occasional /bedside or lamp table. They went to great lengths when choosing the walnut veneer (also laid to the reverse so it can take a more central position in a room if so desired). Plus the finely turned bone knobs show an eye for detail which is encountered again and again throughout this piece. Now professionally and sensitively restored this attractive antique table will enhance a contemporary or period interior.
