Heavy Edwardian Antique Solid Silver Dish Or Bowl

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: The Silver Cabinet

A lovely example of a large open dish or bowl dating from the Edwardian era. Created solely in solid sterling silver, it is hallmarked for Sheffield 1904 with the maker''s mark of William Hutton & Sons.

The bowl has a reticulated, everted form with a moulded scroll and shell border. The sides are decorated in a fretted foliate design. The silver is in excellent condition. Any shadows are a result of my poor photography, not damage to the bowl.
