19th Century Painted Pine Livery Cupboard

Description

The trompe l’oeil decorated two door cupboard, decorated on pitch pine carcass dates from around 1860. The paintwork will have been refreshed some years ago. Panelled sides with bold overhanging cornice. Sturdy construction with a shrinkage split and minor chips to decoration. Although originally used for clothes the cupboard could easily be fitted with shelves for use a a larder. Dimensions of width include the cornice overhang, the depth is case alone.
