Dutch silver sweetmeat baskets
This is a superb pair of antique hallmarked Dutch silver dishes
The shape is oval, on four claw feet, the openwork sides pierced with ovals, beaded rims and two openwork applied tied ribbons for handles,
These are fully hallmark under base for Dutch silver..
Each measure 5 1/4 inches (13.4 cm) Wide by 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) Deep 2 inches (5 cm) High
They have matching hallmarks for Holland 19th century.
Both dishes are in excellent condition with no damage at all and have lovely pierced decoration – they weigh 184.4 grams the pair.
