A stunning and top quality 19th Century French boulle pier cabinet. The rectangular shaped top having rounded corners which have ormolu mounts between the tortoiseshell and brass inlaid frieze.The spectacular single door having a large raised oval panel of boulle work with complimentary corner panels and further ormolu mounts against an ebony back ground. The cabinet is further enhanced with good quality large ormolu mounts to the stiles and the whole raised on a shaped plinth with outline brass stringing and further ormolu mounts. This attractive side cabinet is in superb original condition with working lock & keys stamped Paul Keul of St Antoine, Paris. The mahogany interior with 2 shelves and has been fully cleaned & waxed.
