. Designed as dining-room or entrance-hall pedestal cupboards on which to perhaps stand cutlery urns or for the display of sculpture or objects .

Superbly selected grade of mahogany, quality construction with an excellent rich colour and patination. The edges of the figured mahogany raised panel doors each fitted with architectural tapering stile uprights with stylised carved lotus-leaf cap tops and moulded terminal foot . Each cupboard raised on a plinth base

The recessed edge tops with moulded profiles and returns. The doors fitted with opposing openings as a ‘true’ pair . Fitted with brass locks (no key present) to the side panels .
Panelled back-boards to the reverse.

Functional and practical pair of quality mahogany pedestal cupboards to provide both storage and display options to a period interior.
Some minor historic marks and scratches to top surfaces and edges of plinths, commensurate with age , use and purpose. Fitted with locks , but keys not present.
