Technical Description
 
A mid 19th century European Segmented Liqueur decanter with its 4 original glass and cork stoppers, one for each segment which would hold a different liqueur. Applied neck ring and polished pontil.
 
 
Historical Relevance
 
This form of decanter was very popular and made across Europe from the 18th century onwards. This is a first half 19th-century example, no later than 1850 and a particularly fine large example with an annulated collar and original stoppers. Lead glass and not English, possibly Iberian.
