Very Rare Ambrose Heal 1920's Letchworth Toy Cupboard

This solid oak toy cupboard was designed by Ambrose Heal, part of the Letchworth range of Heals furnture, a rare piece as less than seventy of this model were ever made. In excellent condition and complete with the Heals makers label inset into a door. . This honest Heals storage cupboard was produced between 1922 and 1929. Like the Letchworth cupboard model but with the added two drawers above, making it almost a linen press type. The drawers have the original well turned handles and the drawers run smoothly. All totally original, this Ambrose Heal toy cupboard has chestnut drawer linings, shelves and backboards. A fabulous, rare piece of Heals oak furniture.
