Driscolls Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
1810 and has a moulded cornice above four beautifully figured doors with moulded edges and brass key escutcheons, key and working locks. It stands on shaped bracket feet and splits into two sections for removal. The upper interior has a later hanging rail with removable lower shelf for longer hanging and the lower interior has two shelves. This lovely antique cupboard has wonderful charm, character and has aged to a rich Mahogany shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
