Georgian Oak Housekeepers Cupboard

Description

A very impressive George III oak housekeepers cupboard with mahogany cross banding and decorative inlay, standing on shaped bracket feet. The cupboard has four fielding panelled doors, two glazed doors with original glass, six good sized drawers to the base and five smaller drawers to the upper part, The escutcheons are bone. The turned knob handles are Victorian replacements. The top cupboards have working locks with keys. The top and base are in two parts. This antique housekeepers cupboard is in very good condition with superb colour and patina. A wonderful period piece to offer excellent storage and display facility.
