The top section has fret work, vented doors whilst the cupboard base has two drawers over two doors. Made on Anglesey around 1790-1800 this antique oak bread and cheese cupboard features geometric inlays, which tell you which maker made to cupboard. The antique period oak cupboard stands well on original bracket feet, the drawers have the correct turned wooden handles and original ebbony diamond shaped key hole escuteons. In very good, strong condition, all very complete and the patina and colour of the oak timber is wonderful. A lovely example of a Georgian Weslh antique oak cwprdd barra caws / bread and cheese cupboard.
