William James Antiques has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
The solid Mahogany panelled doors open to reveal all 5 original linen slides, having a cross-banded moulded cornice and the whole raised on tapering feet. Wonderful even colour and timber with strong grain throughout, original finish. English, Circa 1810. This piece splits into 2 sections (Drawers and Cupboard) from original.

please note when photographing this piece the doors show lighter in colour - this isn't the case, the timber is very even throughout and this is just a case of a naughty camera and not being David Bailey of course!
