Philip Carrol Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The centre of the vase, printed and painted with two panels depicting Chinoiserie scenes, upon a cobalt blue ground, painted with gilt floral scroll. Decorated to the reverse, with a shaped panel, containing a flowering tree, and two further large stylised flower heads, amongst gilt foliage.
Set upon a stepped pedestal foot, with gilt decoration, on a cobalt blue ground.
Printed factory mark, and pattern number ‘378’ to the base.
Height -15.2 cm, 6”.
Width - 14.5 cm, 5 3/4”.
Depth - 8 cm, 3 1/8”.
Condition - Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
