Description

Large and impressive pair of French early c20th cobalt blue and heavily gilded twin handled vases by J&P of France, circa 1920.

Very decorative pair and very elegant too, fabulous shape to them and beautifully gilded.

The condition is good to both vases with just the expected wear to the gilding on the top of the twin handles. No cracks to report.

They are decorated differently on each side, so you can rotate them for a slightly different look.

Being finished on both sides, they would sit well on a sofa table for example, but equally good to see them flanking a gilt mirror on a mantle perhaps.

Measuring:

18'' or 46cm high

5 1/4'' or 13.5cm diameter at the bases

Delivery within the UK would be by carefully packed courier at a cost of £55 + vat for the pair, or you are very welcome to come and view / collect from Uppingham, Rutland.
